All Kinds of Time

It's been a few weeks since I've written anything substantive in this blog.  Now that I have a blog of my own, I'm more impressed with and disturbed by the people who manage to blog on a daily basis.  I just don't 1) have the time to write each day, or 2) have anything interesting to say each day.

I guess I'll just write about a few random things on my mind:

Sports

  • Today I started to question just where on the all-time list of worst teams this year's 49ers rank.  I'm having a hard time imagining a game that they might manage to win.
  • Even if the Niners are awful, this is still my favorite time of year.  Can't beat an entire weekend dedicated to football and the World Series.  Well, close to the entire weekend...

Music

  • I recently started listening to a band called The Fray, and if you're into Coldplay or Counting Crows, you'd probably like The Fray.
  • I recommend the song "All Kinds of Time" by Fountains of Wayne for all football fans.  Good song about a quarterback in the zone...

Work

  • JotSpot's new office location is great.  The new office is at 167 Hamilton, a block south of University Ave. in Palo Alto.  I hope I don't gain too much weight since we'll have so many great food options.  If you're hanging out in Palo Alto, give me a ring and we can grab a bite sometime.
  • We're having a meetup Thursday, Oct 27, so come on by.
  • Startup life is great.  I'm really enjoying the act of building a business.  At Oracle and Nextag,  all we ever did was fight to preserve the status quo, and that bored me to death.  It's Sunday night, and I'm actually looking forward to going to the office tomorrow.

49ers Still Suck.

Eh, 42-3.  What can you do?

And I'm out of the office pool, too...who'd have though the Browns would beat the Packers?  I suppose I deserve to get knocked out for picking against my hometown team.
